What is Belinda’s Amazing Minerals Plus?
Belinda’s Amazing Minerals Plus® (BAM+) has the same great vitamin and mineral formula as our Belinda’s Premium Loose Lick® supplement (BLL), with some fantastic added extras.
BAM+ is an economical way of feeding 3 supplements in one for as little as 82c per day for a 500kg horse. Additionally, BAM+ is safe for horses with laminitis or insulin resistance, and even dilute horses needing a white diet.
Here at Elite Equine Essentials we stock a formula of Belinda’s Premium Loose Lick® supplement and Belinda’s Amazing Minerals Plus® that has been specifically designed with South Australian and Western Australian soils and pastures in mind, containing extra copper, zinc, selenium, magnesium and boron. From 2018 our new formula also contains additional calcium to accommodate for horses not on limestone soils, such as in the Adelaide Hills area.
Belinda’s Amazing Minerals Plus® is designed to be fed in hard feeds, unlike the Belinda’s Premium Loose Lick® supplement which can be fed in hard feeds andad lib due to it’s weatherproof formula. BAM+ is a very tasty supplement and if left to consume ad lib, may lead to over consumption.
If you’d like to ensure your horse is getting the vitamins and minerals they require, while also getting the full benefits of the prebiotic and toxin binder, you can feed BAM+ in the hard feed and provide BLL ad lib in the paddock. This is our recommended way of feeding, and how many of our horses are fed!
BAM+ and BLL both contain Biotin for hoof health, and no molasses or iron. They are balanced for maximum bio-availability and helps fill the gap that your horse may be lacking in pasture or other feeds.
